Stand!

“Time is the quality of nature that keeps events from happening all at once. Lately, it doesn’t seem to be working.” – Anonymous.

I have a large backlog of work to get through, professionally, within my photography, and lastly with those pesky little chores at home which build up and overwhelm one. However, I am slowly chalking off these tasks and managing to get little bits of photography done in the downtime, a result of which is posted here (click the above image for a larger version).

Taken recently near Grand Teton, North of Jackson, Wyoming, it is a quite typical view of that part of the world at this time of year. Unfortunately, it was taken on the move (hence the slightly blurred Elk in the foreground), so really it qualified for my Yes! I am a long way from home! gallery. But, since it falls more logically into Terra, that’s where it can be found along with many other images which I hope you enjoy.

For what it is worth, I hope to get some very different photography posted soon, since I appreciate that pictures of elk in snowy landscapes does not float everybody’s boat!
