Just a quick update to prove I am still alive and kicking! Lots and lots of new images are in the pipeline, including a new and very interesting image gallery yet to be finalised.

But, until this new gallery is ready, I’ll keep you all satiated with this fun photograph taken in Santa Monica recently. For those not familiar with this city, there are countless fine examples of great architecture showcasing the quite unique combination of Googie and Tiki styles popular during the 1950s and 1960s. Throw in the classic West Coast hazy sunshine and ubiquitous palm trees and the ingredients for some wonderful architecture photography is never far away. Those of you who like Mad Men will surely like this photograph!

Currently Analepsis can be found in the Abstract gallery, but along with many other Architecture and Cityscape images I have laying around, maybe it is about time for a new gallery dedicated to this theme.
